Cats are so funny so much of the time. Just look at his face. He's not really listening to what you have to say, he's just going through the motions.

Maybe you should come up with a funny joke to tell him or something. Then he might be interested. It's hard to keep a cat's attention, to be fair. They're hard to entertain sometimes unless you get one that loves to play.
