Dickey Betts has died at the age of 80. He was surrounded by his family and passed away very peacefully.

He was one of the original founders and members of the Allman Brothers band. He will be greatly missed by all his fans and friends. He helped create a musical legacy that will last forever, for generations to come. People love and can relate to this amazing music.

I used to listen to this band with my Dad when I was a kid; he's the one who put me on to them. My Dad really knew what good music was, and it's because of him that I do too. I will always cherish those memories of listening to songs like "Ramblin' Man" with my Dad. We had such good times. People all around the world love this band and listen to them a lot.
