Missouri highway patrol accidentally sends out "Batman" cell phone alert

 From the emergency alert that was sent out in Missouri, you would think the Joker is on the loose in the state.

He's Batman

An emergency alert was sent to cell phones in Missouri asking residents of "Gotham City, MO" to be on the lookout for...you guessed it, the Joker's car (purple/green 1978 Dodge 3700 GT).

It turns out there is no Gotham City in Missouri, as many people found out when they Googled it.

The message was sent by error as part of a test of the alert system.

Many people had a good laugh with this one, including myself. 

Whoever sent the message has an impressive knowledge of Batman films.
