According to new data from Cloudflare, TikTok was the most popular website of 2021, officially surpassing Google.
The previous year, TikTok was only ranked #7 or #8 on the list. The social media site also surpassed Facebook this year to be crowned the #1 most-visited website.
Of course, most people use the mobile app version of TikTok, but a lot of people use the website as well.

All the main social media apps were in the top 100 websites visited, but TikTok still ranked number one this year.
The website's popularity has skyrocketed in the last couple of years, as you may have noticed. Will its popularity continue into the new year? Only time will tell, but one thing's for sure, TikTok is definitely here to stay.
It's crazy to see how popular a website can become if it really goes viral and spreads like TikTok has done.
Even though it's mostly popular among young people, people of all ages have joined the conversation on the app, posting videos on all sorts of topics.

UPDATE: In 2023, TikTok is even more popular than ever. It's pretty much a household staple around here, we watch it a lot. It's so fun to scroll through and watch funny videos, or live streams. Furthermore, it's truly an amazing app and I can see why so many people love it.
I even love making videos on the app. It's great and a lot of fun.
